What Does the 2017 Ford Explorer Bring to the Table?

Are shopping the full-size SUV segment for your next daily driver? Well, if so, we here at Mullahey Ford have a funny feeling you'll meet your match in ours, the 2017 Explorer.

How come?

Get the inside scoop from the auto experts at MotorWeek; their evaluation of the Explorer is available in the clip below:

The Explorer's entry-level engine, a 3.5-liter V6, promises to be a popular pick.

Teaming with a six-speed automatic transmission, the base engine makes a healthy 290 horsepower and 255 pound-feet of torque. It's equipped with front-wheel drive by default, while all-wheel drive is optional.

We like this engine from a fuel economy perspective, too; with front-wheel drive, for example, it's estimated to achieve 20 mpg combined (17 city/24 highway).

If you'd like to meet this marvelous machine "in the metal," or wish to put one through its paces on the open road, we encourage you to pay us a visit at our Arroyo Grande, CA location. Upon your stopover, we'll be sure to set you up with a test drive in the Explorer, or any other Ford model that's commanded your curiosity.
